Your Route Is Discussed Before the Load Is Booked

Every Landway driver works with a dedicated dispatcher. Before a load is booked, the route and operating details are discussed with you so you understand where you are going and what the trip involves

The load is booked only after you have reviewed and accepted the assignment

Requirements

The essentials for our standard company driver position

  • 21+Years of age
  • CDL-AValid Class A license
  • 1+ yearVerifiable commercial driving experience
  • Driving recordAcceptable Motor Vehicle Record

Valid DOT medical certification and required employment, safety and pre-employment drug checks also apply

  • Valid DOT medical certification
  • Legally qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle in interstate commerce
  • Able to pass a DOT-compliant pre-employment drug screening
  • Able to complete required employment and safety verifications
  • Reliable communication with dispatch
  • No additional endorsements required

Landway may consider select CDL-A holders who do not yet meet the standard experience requirement. Acceptance is determined individually based on the applicant’s qualifications, driving background, safety profile, and training needs

Approved candidates may receive $500 per week in training pay during an initial training period

Selection for the training program is not guaranteed

Our fleet includes International LT trucks with Cummins engines, automatic transmissions, APU, power inverter, refrigerator, and road-facing safety cameras. There are no driver-facing cameras

Policies

Landway may consider select newer CDL-A holders individually. Approved candidates may receive $500 per week during an initial training period. Selection is not guaranteed

Riders may be permitted only with prior approval from Landway management
